Shutter Speed Mode

Yup! i am showing the DSLR camera which have slow shutter mode or some compact camera do have this mode. It is fun and it can created effect by blurring and freezing motion on the picture with the shutter speed. The shutter speed can be adjust in camera by dial manual mode, while u can set the shutter speed by fastest to 1/3000 and while the slowest to 1/30sec. Normally slow shutter is used it in evening time with the tripod to stand still the camera to catch the evening picture with the lights on the view while for the fast shutter is used in on day time which is sunny and afternoon while the view is still on bright day. Enough by talk much, Showing picture will tell the whole story!

 exposure 1/2" ISO 100

This is slow shutter on 1 frame per 2 seconds, So u can see the people still moving around while the beggar was stop at middle. I hold the camera for 2 seconds with still after pressing the shutter to create a story of people walking over the beggar while beggar is beg for money on the street. This picture is taking at Petaling street.

Exposure 0.8" ISO 200

This picture shoing the busy street on the road, Exposure time is 8secs per frame. Was using tripod to catch it. You can see that the car tail lights is long and moving car as well. Actually that time was not much car but picture show is busy on the street while the green lights is running!

Exposure 1.3" ISO 100

This picture taken in Timesquare parking floor level 16th with slow shutter 1.3" secs exposure, To created a car tail lights and evening with blue sky while the Twin Towers is bright on the blue sky. This is just perfect with the blue sky and golded orange color traffic.

Exposure 1/4000 ISO 100

This picture is taking at my office blocks at highest level in evening, waiting for the sunset and manage to captured this with highest shutter speed. When u adjust the shutter to 1/4000 it will captured the dark scene only the sun is bright and round.

Exposure 1/1000 ISO 100

This picture is taking on beach while the sun is bright, the highest shutter speed will create a dark exposure scene and the bright object will become obviously can be seen. So hope all of u may understanding the highest shutter and slowest shutter how it create exposure works. Hope my picture may help u for understanding everything about Shutter speed mode.
